Fundraising Outreach Assistant

Be the friendly voice connecting local businesses and donors to TLCF — making calls, sending emails, sharing sponsorship opportunities, and following up with prospects.

What you'll do
  • Call and email local businesses about sponsorship and giving opportunities
  • Share sponsorship packets and follow up with prospects
  • Track outreach and responses in a simple pipeline
  • Support event and campaign fundraising logistics

Community Partnerships Assistant

Introduce TLCF programs to the places where people already gather — schools, churches, nonprofits, apartment communities, and local businesses across Metro Atlanta.

  • Contact schools, churches, nonprofits, apartments, and businesses about TLCF programs
  • Schedule informational meetings and distribute program materials
  • Build a referral and partner contact list
  • Represent TLCF at community events and partner meetings

Grant Writer

Turn our programs and impact into compelling grant proposals — researching funders, writing applications, and helping secure the resources that fuel our work.

What you'll do
  • Research foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities
  • Draft letters of inquiry, proposals, and reports
  • Maintain a grants calendar with deadlines and requirements
  • Work with leadership to gather program data and outcomes
You'll thrive if
  • Strong persuasive writing and research skills
  • Grant writing experience is a plus, not a requirement
  • Interest in education, poverty relief, or workforce development

2. Conversation

We reply by email, usually within a week, and set up a friendly 20–30 minute call to talk through the role.

3. Onboarding portal

Accepted applicants get an account in our secure onboarding portal — information, Form I-9, agreements, and documents in one place.

4. Trainings & start

Finish orientation, code of conduct, and role-specific trainings, then you're cleared to start serving.

How compensation works

Volunteer today. Paid as we grow.

Every role at The Luc Cochran Foundation begins as a volunteer or internship position. As the foundation's revenue and grants grow, compensation for these roles scales with that growth — the people building TLCF share in its success. Interns may also be eligible for course credit, service hours, and professional references.

Are these paid positions?
Not today. Each role begins as a volunteer or internship position, and compensation scales as foundation revenue and grant funding grow.
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes. Submit the form once per role you're interested in, and mention any overlap in the last question.
Do I need a résumé?
No file upload is required. If you'd like us to see a résumé, LinkedIn, or portfolio, paste the link in the links field.
What happens after I'm accepted?
You'll receive an invitation to create your account in our secure onboarding portal, where you complete your information, Form I-9, agreements, documents, and required trainings.
Are students welcome?
Absolutely. Internships can often be arranged for course credit or service hours — just tell us your school's requirements.
